Serie A 2015/16 season preview

Our partners and friends have predicted what the 2015/16 season will look like for Serie A and for some of the clubs in it.

Despite Italy getting a bad reputation in the last few years regarding their presence at the top of European football (or, lack of), Juventus were able to convincingly defeat Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League before edging past favourites Real Madrid to the 2015 final in Berlin. They may not have lifted last season’s most coveted prize thanks to Lionel Messi and Co. but they were able to put Italy back on the map again – how long for, who knows.

Better things will also be expected of AC Milan after their acquisitions of Carlos Bacca, Alessio Romagnoli and Andrea Bertolacci, who should be improving on last season’s poor 10th placed finish. Inter, too, need to get back to the top of Serie A if the Milan clubs want to maintain their reputation as two of Italy’s biggest teams.
