Sead Kolašinac “appreciates the support” shown to him after his mistake against Manchester United on Wednesday.
Just 13 seconds after going ahead at Old Trafford, the 25-year-old inadvertently allowed Jesse Lingard to equalise after miscontrolling the ball.
The Gunners – all things considered – dropped two points but Kolašinac has praised the positive reaction from his manager and team-mates.
“It’s a good feeling coming into the dressing room like that,” he told Sky Sports.
“Especially after knowing you’ve made a mistake and that mistake has potentially cost us two points. It made me feel better.
“The manager told me in no uncertain terms not to get too down about it and that did help me. Everyone in the team too.
“All the players came over and they consoled me and told me not to get too down about it. I always appreciate the support.
“You notice then we’re a tight-knit team and I think it’s a positive.”
Arsenal face Huddersfield on Saturday before hosting Qarabag on Thursday in their final Europa League group game.
