Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri has demanded focus from his players on their fixture against SPAL this weekend before their attention turns to Inter Milan.

It could be a season-defining week for Sarri and Juve as they travel to SPAL on Saturday before the first leg of their Champions League las1t-16 tie against Lyon on Wednesday.

The week ends with that crunch top-of-the-table clash with Inter next weekend.

Juventus are in the midst of a three-way title race with Antonio Conte’s side as well as Lazio, but Sarri has reaffirmed that overcoming SPAL is the main task in hand.

Speaking at his press conference on Friday, Sarri stated: “We’re coming into the game ready, both mentally and physically in what is an important stage of the season.

“We’re not worrying about players picking up suspensions ahead of Inter, we’re just focusing on tomorrow’s game.

“We’re not thinking about the Scudetto race, just tomorrow’s game in Ferrara because this is not yet a decisive period.”

Juventus go into the game one point ahead of second-placed Lazio at the top of Serie A after their 2-0 win over Brescia last weekend.

Their hosts on Saturday are starting to be cut adrift at the bottom of the table, with SPAL currently eight points from safety.
