After a two month search, Wales have named Ryan Giggs as the successor to former boss Chris Coleman.
The former Wales international has reportedly signed a four-year contract.
Until now, the only experience Giggs has as a manager is four games as interim head coach at Manchester United back in 2014. He was also part of the backroom staff at Old Trafford under David Moyes and Louis van Gaal.
Giggs has been looking to get into management since leaving Manchester United in 2016 and recently described the Wales vacancy as “one of the top jobs”.
The Welsh FA also interviewed Craig Bellamy, Mark Bowen, and Coleman’s assistant Osain Roberts for the role.
During an illustrious career as a player, Giggs represented Wales 64 times, scoring 12 goals.
