Romelu Lukaku’s long-rumoured switch to Inter is reportedly a step closer to happening after the Belgian striker agreed personal terms with the Serie A side.

Lukaku is thought to want out of Manchester United and has previously admitted that he would love to one day make a switch to Italy.

Well that could be happening as soon as next month, with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that the goalscorer has all-but agreed to a five-year contract.

The deal would apparently see the former Everton man earn €7.5m per season plus bonuses.

Lukaku is wanted by Antonio Conte, with the ex-Chelsea boss on the verge of taking over from Luciano Spalletti.

Although personal terms have been agreed, Inter are still yet to enter negotiations with United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be willing to let the hitman leave, but their asking price of €75m could be a problem.
