According to Polish outlet Przeglad Sportowy, Pini Zahavi has told them that the rumors of Lewandowski extending his Bayern stay are indeed true, though nothing has been agreed upon yet.

Lewandowski’s current deal runs until 2021, which will keep him in Munich until he’s nearly 33 years old.

According to the report, the Polish national team captain is open to ending his career with the Bavarians as well.

Lewandowski joined on a free transfer from rivals Borussia Dortmund in 2014 and has scored an astounding 186 goals in addition to his 47 assists in 234 games with the club.
