After a brief holiday following their Copa Libertadores glory and Club World Cup participation, River Plate have returned to training.
On January 6, Los Millonarios were put through their paces at Estadio Monumental before travelling to Uruguay for pre-season.

The players were put through light movements, which consisted of strength work, conditioning and technical exercises.
In Uruguay, River will face Nacional on January 15 before returning to Argentina on January 17, where they face Defensa y Justicia in Núñez.
