In the last few hours, Mexico international defender Héctor Moreno re-emerged as a possible Chivas reinforcement for the 2020 Clausura campaign.

However, this will not be happening, and the soon-to-be 32-year-old will remain in Qatar with Al-Gharafa.

This was confirmed by TUDN network reporter Erick López, who pointed out in the program El Madruguete that “there was a call to Hector from Ricardo Peláez when he assumed the director of football role.

“It was only a call, like the one he made to another 10 or 15 players, with whom he was probing the possibilities.

Chivas and Ricardo Peláez have previously stated that they are done signing players for the 2020 Clausura season, but recent injuries to the club have had Chivas rumoured with one or two more signings before the end of the window.
