Though Nürnberg will go down to the 2. Bundesliga next season, they’re already making moves in order to bounce back into the German top flight.
According to German outlet kicker, Nürnberg are amongst a number of clubs that are heavily interested in Bayern youngster Woo-yeong Jeong.
Nürnberg reportedly have offered to take him on a two-year loan, which would seem to be fantastic for all parties involved.
The 19-year-old has been a shining star in the reserves, scoring 12 goals and adding five assists in 27 games in all competitions in the Regionalliga.
Bayern are very much aware of his talent and gave the South Korean his first two first-team appearances this season – making his debut off the bench during Bayern’s 5-1 Champions League victory over Benfica and, most recently, he made his Bundesliga debut in their 5-1 win over Mönchengladbach.
