Real Madrid are reportedly ‘ready to offload’ Thibaut Courtois this summer after a specific request from manager Zinedine Zidane.

Courtois joined the club in 2018 from Chelsea, but struggled to replicate the form he showed at Atlético Madrid and later Chelsea.

According to AS, Zidane has already told club president Florentino Pérez that he wants Keylor Navas as his number one next season.

The report claims that Luca Zidane – son of Zinedine – will be promoted in place of the Belgium international, who has conceded 42 goals in 32 appearances this season.

There are also doubts over how Courtois has integrated behind the scenes, with key dressing room figures unsure of his presence.

Real Madrid are also hoping to sell Gareth Bale after another injury-ridden season in the capital.
