According to Marca, the 19-year-old will join the Real Madrid ‘B’ team after passing his medical.
He will likely join Real Madrid on a loan deal as Perez’s club would have an option to make the deal a permanent one for €5m. He has been followed by many clubs over the past few seasons as it now seems like Real Madrid beat everyone to him.
Siqueira is a diminutive forward and follows in the footsteps of current Los Blancos star Marcelo, who also honed his craft in Brazil with Fluminense.
This isn’t the first time Real Madrid have splashed the cash in South America this season, with Vinicius Junior signing from Flamengo for €45 million.
The news comes as Real Madrid get set to take on Juventus in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. They take a 3-0 lead into the Santiago Bernabéu with a chance to make their eighth straight semi-final appearance.
