Real Madrid are reportedly ready to launch ‘Operation 200’ – their attempt at recouping €200m in order to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United.
Los Blancos have been told by United that they would consider selling the World Cup winner, but only as long as bids are north of €200m.
Having already signed Eden Hazard, Luka Jović, Ferland Mendy and Éder Militão this summer, Zinedine Zidane’s side are short on cash and space in their squad.
As such, AS claim that they will, over the next few weeks, offer Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Dani Ceballos to clubs in Europe.
The hope is that, combined, those three players can fetch somewhere in the region of €150m, with the club then ready to make a late move for Pogba.
The United midfielder has already admitted that he is “looking for a new challenge”, with Juventus also thought to be keen on his services.
