Inter hotshot Lautaro Martínez has emerged as a summer market priority for Real Madrid.

His outstanding performances for the Nerazzurri this season have also attracted the interest of rivals Barcelona, as well as Manchester United.

In an initial report from TyC Sports which has since been backed up by MARCA, it is claimed that Real are ready to pay the Argentine’s eye-watering release clause.

That stands at €115 million but Los Blancos are ready to pay it in order to get the man they view as Karim Benzema’s successor and have even discussed personal terms with his entourage.

It is also noted though that Real are willing to give Luka Jović further opportunities to show what he can do between now and the end of the season.

Lautaro, who has scored 16 goals this season, was a target for the Madrid giants in his Racing Club days and they also considered a move again last summer.

However, a move for the 22-year-old this time around would not be plain sailing due to Real’s non-EU player quota in the current squad.

They are only permitted three such players and those positions are taken up by Éder Militão, Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo, with Reinier on the way.

But Los Blancos remain hopeful that Vinícius will soon obtain a Spanish passport and thus free up a space for Lautaro.
