Real Madrid have reportedly earmarked Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jović as their ‘marquee signing’ for the summer.

The 21-year-old has been prolific for Die Adler this season, scoring 18 goals in 25 appearances across all competitions.

According to AS, Real view Jović as the perfect option to make an instant impact but also replace Karim Benzema long term.

Frankfurt are likely to trigger their €8m option-to-buy for the Serbian before selling him on for handsome profit.

The report also claims that Los Blancos were interested in Edinson Cavani, Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane, but were quickly priced out.

With Vinícius Júnior (18), Rodrygo (18) and potentially Jović coming in, this represents a clear shift in mentality for Real who are rebuilding with youth post-Cristiano Ronaldo.
