Real Madrid are reportedly considering the idea of offering one (or more) players plus cash for Paul Pogba this summer.
The 26-year-old has endured a mixed time at Old Trafford since returning in 2016, frustrating fans with long periods of inconsistency.
According to Times Sport, Pogba is open to leaving United with Madrid now exploring every alternative to help fund a move.
Los Blancos would ideally offer Gareth Bale, removing his €15m p/a salary from the wage bill and releasing manager Zinedine Zidane from handling him every week.
Another option is James Rodríguez who looks unlikely to sign for Bayern permanently after an unsuccessful two-year loan spell.
Theo Hernández and goalkeeper Keylor Navas – who came within seconds of joining United as a David de Gea replacement in 2015 – have also been suggested.
However, with Pogba under contract until 2021 and a major part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future plans, a summer departure seems improbable.
