Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Eintracht Frankfurt sensation Luka Jović this summer.

At least, that’s according to Spanish outlet AS, who reported late on Friday that Jović will move to Madrid in a deal worth €60m and sign a whopping six-year contract.

Their sources indicate that €48m of that transfer fee will go to Eintracht Frankfurt, with the other €12m going to the Serbian’s former club Benfica.

Jović has been linked with a number of top European clubs over the last few months and his superb goal in Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea only enhanced his reputation further.

The 21-year-old has now netted 26 goals in all competitions this term – a record which has seen him linked with the likes of Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, AS claim Jović has known for weeks that he was probably heading to the Bernabéu and has even been in contact some of the club’s players about the move.

But Los Blancos were forced to act quickly following sudden heightened interest from PSG, and it looks like they may have got their man.

Spanish media have also been speculating about the former Red Star Belgrade striker possibly joining as a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.
