A seventh-place finish. European football to look forward to. Not bad for your first season back in the top flight.
Wolves are still on a high following their incredible exploits in the 2018/19 Premier League campaign.
However, record signing Raúl Jiménez believes they can actually improve on those achievements next season.
Speaking to the club’s official website after collecting his awards for top scorer and Players’ Player of the Season, the Mexican is already excited about what is next.
“It is an honour to be part of this amazing club and we all want to improve,” he insisted.
“In pre-season, we have to work on getting better in the friendly games that we have and look for the performances but I think next year we can be better.
“I’m really looking forward to playing in Europe too. I have already played in the Champions League, which is the most important club competition.
“But I have never played in the Europa League and that is a big opportunity for us.”
Jiménez ended the season with 13 Premier League strikes, setting a record for a Wolves player in a single season.
