Rangers set to announce Sheyi Ojo on Tuesday

On Tuesday, Liverpool’s Sheyi Ojo will become Steven Gerrard’s fifth signing of the season.

That’s according to the Daily Record, who state that the club will announce the acquisition of the 21-year-old on a one-year loan deal.

Ojo was photographed in Glasgow at Rangers’ Hummel training centre on Monday.

Steven Davis, Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie, and Greg Stewart have all joined the club this summer.

The winger did not enjoy the best of loan spells at Ligue 1’s Reims last season, making 15 league appearances but featuring for just 59 minutes in 2019.

Previously, Ojo has made 13 first-team appearances with the Reds and has spent time on loan at Fulham, Wolves, and Wigan.

The winger reportedly agreed to personal terms on a new five-year deal with Liverpool last week.
