The agent of Eros Grezda has revealed that the winger will not join up with his Rangers team-mates for their pre-season training camp.

Having reported back to Murray Park this week for their first sessions, Steven Gerrard’s will fly out to Portugal next week to continue their preparations.

However, Grezda will apparently not be part of that group for pre-season.

That is according to his agent Ives Cakarun, who also suggested that his client could be closing in on an Ibrox exit.

“He is still with Rangers but he has been with the national squad and there were some problems last week,” Cakarun said, quoted by Sky Sports.

“So that means that he will not be in the squad.

“We’ve spoken to the club and at the moment, he is still part of Rangers.

“Let’s see what happens in the window but for now, there is no news.”

Grezda was forced to publicly deny reports last month from the Albanian FA that he pulled out of an international squad for ‘personal reasons’, claiming he was in fact injured.

He had a disappointing first season at Ibrox, starting just seven games after arriving from Osijek with a big reputation.
