Rangers are reportedly ‘confident’ of securing a deal for Blackpool striker Anthony Weston.

Weston was promoted to the first-team this season by manager Simon Grayson, after scoring 14 goals in 19 appearances at youth level.

According to Sun Sport, Rangers have scouted the 16-year-old regularly and will make an offer to sign him this summer.

The Ibrox club believe they could offer a clear first-team pathway and European football, which could appeal to the teenager.

Everton, Southampton and Leeds have also expressed an interest.
