Rangers and West Bromwich Albion are both interested in taking Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn on loan this month.

Woodburn returned to Liverpool last week following a disappointing loan spell at Sheffield United, where he made just seven league appearances since the beginning of this season.

But Reds boss Jürgen Klopp is reportedly keen to send the 19-year-old out on loan again for the rest of the campaign and according to the The Sun, he could be heading to either the Hawthorns or Ibrox.

The Baggies have a space in their squad after Harvey Barnes was recalled from his loan spell by parent club Leicester on Friday.

Rangers, meanwhile, made an attempt to take Woodburn on loan in the summer and Steven Gerrard’s strong Liverpool connections mean this time, they might get their wish.

The Gers already have Ryan Kent on loan from Anfield, while Ovie Ejaria also played for the Scottish Premiership outfit in the first half of this campaign.

The Sun also reckon Aston Villa, Blackburn, Hull, Wigan and Brentford are considering making an offer for Woodburn.

The Chester-born Welsh international winger has already been capped nine times at senior international level and has made 11 first-team appearance for Liverpool prior to this season.
