Ralf misses training and is a doubt to face Flamengo | OneFootball

During this week’s training sessions, Corinthians defensive midfielder Ralf felt pain in his thigh and went to get re-evaluated.

Ralf missed training on Friday and is now a huge doubt for this Sunday’s huge match against Flamengo.

Now Gabriel, who has only featured for nine minutes this season, will likely get the starting nod at the number six position.

Fabio Carille put out an XI in training that featured: Cassio; Fagner, Manoel, Gil and Danilo Avelar; Gabriel, Junior Urso and Sornoza; Pedrinho, Vagner Love and Clayson.

Whether or not Carille will stick with his patented 4-1-4-1 formation or whether he’ll switch to a modified 4-3-3 remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, Gustagol also missed training and is a confirmed absence for Sunday. After dominating in the Campeonato Paulista, he has hardly featured in the regular season and has made just a single Brasileirão start.
