Rico, who is under contract at Sevilla until 2021, made three saves during PSG’s 2-1 win over Brest three weeks back and PSG are ready to make him their permanent number two goalkeeper.

Keylor Navas, who signed from Real Madrid in a €15m deal back in August, has been phenomenal, earning a whopping 10 clean sheets in just 14 starts in goal this season.

It’s worth remembering that PSG still own the rights to Alphonso Areola until 2023. Areola is at Real Madrid on a season-long loan and moved to Spain as part of the Navas deal.
