Paris Saint-Germain look set for a summer of squad upheaval with plenty of in and outgoings at the Parc des Princes.

Coach Thomas Tuchel has already bemoaned their lack of midfield options over this past season, using it as an excuse for their Champions League exit and a limp end to the Ligue 1 title.

But according to one report in Spain, PSG will also look to add some bite to their attack in time for the 2019/20 campaign.

They say that the French giants are interested in Diego Costa, who is likely to depart Atlético Madrid having fallen out with Diego Simeone.

The Spain international is currently serving an eight-match suspension for insulting a referee which has prematurely ended his season.

PSG though, are not put off by his bad boy image, and in fact are hoping to add some more personality and leadership to the squad.

Diego Costa’s ability to speak Portuguese is also a big plus, with the likes of Marquinhos, Thiago Silva and Neymar forming a key group inside the dressing room.
