PSG told to pay €44m for potential Adrien Rabiot replacement | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly been quoted €44m to sign midfielder Leandro Paredes.

The Argentine international currently plays for Zenit St. Petersburg in Russia but could be the man to improve PSG’s midfield.

PSG are set to lose Adrien Rabiot for nothing in the summer with the midfielder refusing to sign a new contract. The French champions are now prepared to freeze the Frenchman out and could even sell him next month if they can find a replacement. Rabiot is widely expected to join Barcelona.

Now, according to reports in Russia, PSG have made an approach for Paredes.

A report on website Culture PSG claims a bid went in for Paredes last week, as per Argentinian journalist Martin Costa. The €35m offer was, though, turned down.

Recently, PSG have been using centre-back Marquinhos in midfield as Rabiot was kept out of the side.
