In a stunning development, PSG have turned to Russia in an attempt to replace the departing Adrien Rabiot.
According to the very reliable Gianluca Di Marzio, the French giants have lodged an official €35m bid for Leandro Paredes of Zenit St. Petersburg.
Chelsea appeared to be in line to capture Paredes, however, they have yet to make an official offer for his services.
Paredes has made nine appearances for the Argentine national team and joined Roma from Boca Juniors in 2014.
Zenit then signed the 24-year-old in 2017 for €23m. Since his arrival, the midfielder has scored 10 goals and contributed 15 assists in 61 appearances.
