Paris Saint-Germain’s quest to sign a new midfielder this month has led them to Bayern Munich’s Renato Sanches.

That’s according to French outlet RMC Sport, who report that PSG have made an approach for the Portuguese international during the last 48 hours.

Antero Henrique – the Ligue 1 giants’ sporting director – is understood to be an admirer of the 21-year-old’s and reportedly failed in a bid to bring him to the French capital last summer.

But Sky Germany’s information is very different to that which is being reported by RMC.

According to them, Bayern are demanding €15m more than PSG are willing to pay for Sanches, and the deal is unlikely to go ahead.

Meanwhile, RMC claim Les Parisiens are still locked in negotiations with Zenit Saint Petersburg over Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes.

The two clubs reportedly held a meeting at a Paris hotel on Tuesday and an agreement could be close. The 24-year-old is believed to have already agreed personal terms and a four-and-a-half year contract.

And it seems there is still a possibility Idrissa Gueye could be swapping Everton for PSG this month.

The Liverpool Echo report that the Toffees have yet to receive any formal offers for the Senegal international and are not interested in letting him leave the club anytime soon.

But RMC claim the Premier League outfit will consider selling if they receive an acceptable bid and are already searching for a replacement for the 29-year-old.
