The last thing you want as a sports star before a big game is to meet Canadian rapper Drake.

But the so-called ‘Drake curse’ returned in a big way over the weekend, this time afflicting Paris Saint-Germain.

The French champions needed just a point against Lille to retain their Ligue 1 title.

However, they were thrashed 5-1 as the champagne was put on ice for the second successive week.

The reason for the defeat? The Drake curse, of course.

Layvin Kurzawa was the guilty party this time, being photographed with the musician prior to the defeat.

Drake has previous for it, having been pictured with Jadon Sancho, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Sergio Agüero and Wilfried Zaha before recent losses.

It has even crossed into other sports too, hindering Conor McGregor, the Toronto Raptors and Alabama.
