Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly secured a deal to sign Zenit midfielder Leandro Paredes.
According to L’Equipe, the 24-year-old was in Paris on Wednesday to sign his contract, ahead of a move worth €47.5m + add ons.
Chelsea had initially shown interest in Paredes to replace Cesc Fàbregas but ‘moved too slowly’ as they focused their efforts on signing Gonzalo Higuaín.
The former Boca Juniors midfielder could prove vital to PSG with Marco Verratti and Adrien Rabiot out of the side through injury + disciplinary reasons.
