The 2014/15 Premier League season is over and our friends VivaFootballCalcio have handpicked the cream of the crop for our Team of the Season.

David De Gea (Manchester Utd)
In a inconsistent season for the Red Devils, the Spanish stopper cemented himself as the best in the division with superb performances throughout the campaign.

Nathaniel Clyne (Southampton)
The Saints defender was a breakthrough star this year and has the chance to become an England regular, whilst his displays have attracted the attention of some of England’s biggest outfits.

John Terry (Chelsea)
The Blues captain showed that age is just a number with some thrilling displays, as he helped his side clinch the Premier League title.

Laurent Koscielny (Arsenal)
Injured for a fair part of the campaign, Koscielny made Arsenal’s back-line look much stronger and united, which helped the Gunners with a late half-push for Chelsea’s crown.

Ryan Bertand (Southampton)
The former Chelsea youngster has come good on the South Coast, establishing himself as a likely successor to Ashley Cole’s England role that was vacated last year.

Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal)
The Chilean ace was an excellent addition to the Premier League and helped Arsenal vastly throughout their campaign, proving to be a superb purchase.

Nemanja Matic (Chelsea)
A unsung hero of Chelsea’s title-winning campaign, Matic’s valiant performance in the middle of the park helped keep the Blues ticking throughout.

Eden Hazard (Chelsea)
Establishing himself as the best in the Premier League, Belgian star Hazard came to fruit this season and has the world at his feet going forward.

Harry Kane (Tottenham)
The youngster enjoyed a fantastic breakthrough year, scoring over 30 goals in the season for Spurs and more than 20 in the Premier League.

Sergio Aguero (Manchester City)
Missing a large chunk of the campaign, Argentine striker Aguero still ran away with the season’s golden boot.

Diego Costa (Chelsea)
His performance at the beginning half of the seasons was majestic and lethal, a real cog in the machine of Chelsea’s title winning campaign.
