Philadelphia Union were able to grab their first win since Matchday 1 with a 3-2 victory over Eastern rivals D.C. United.

Philly wasn’t only suffering of a bad streak results wise, their offense were in a several crisis during their last five matches, as they were only able to score once in that period.

But that came to an end with three goals on Saturday evening.

The start wasn’t very promising for the home team, as Zoltán Stieber gave United the lead early in the game.

With a bit of luck, Ilsinho got Philly back on track.

In the second half, C.J. Sapong’s header gave the Union the lead for the first time in the match.

Ben Olsen responded by sending Darren Mattocks into the pitch. And with only two minutes in the game, the Jamaican forward equalised for D.C.

Philadelphia were quick to react and just a minute later, Borek Dockal netted the game winner with an astounding rocket strike.
