The 47-year-old has revealed that he would be keen on taking his talents to the international scene, but has ruled out Argentina because of the intensity of the job.

“If the opportunity came I would like to be a national team coach. If it can be done, I would like to do it,” he told the Universo Valdano show.

“No, for sure not [Argentina].

Although he did not cite any countries in particular, Guardiola did reveal that he loves living abroad.

“You learn languages, cultures, to travel and see other places is nice, also for the family.”
