Pedrinho confirms he will renew his Corinthians deal | OneFootball

There’s no doubt that Pedrinho is Corinthians’ most sought-out player and will soon leave for Europe for tens of millions of Euros, but the 21-year-old isn’t done at the club just yet.

At the moment his contract is set to end in December 2020 and contains a release clause of €50m.

A contract extension means that Corinthians will earn a pretty penny for one of their most important players, which whom Corinthians did not win a single Brasileirão match without this year.

In addition to revealing his verbal agreement, Pedrinho added that the departures of Fábio Carille and Emerson Sheik had nothing to do with the delay.

“Yes (I will renew). We are talking so that, in early January, we can talk about the renewal. Even before (the resignation), it was already decided,” Pedrinho said.

After missing the last match due to his call-up to the Brazil U-23s, Pedrinho should be in the starting lineup for their match with Botafogo this weekend.
