Paul Pogba will reportedly tell his representatives that he wants to leave Manchester United this summer.
The 26-year-old has endured a mixed time at Old Trafford since returning in 2016, frustrating fans with long periods of inconsistency.
According to L’Equipe, United’s Champions League exit to Barcelona was the ‘final straw’ for Pogba who is already plotting an exit strategy.
Real Madrid are his likeliest destination, particularly with Zinedine Zidane back in charge who made no secret of his admiration for the 26-year-old.
One stumbling block, however, could be Mino Raiola who is known for complicating negotiations which Florentino Pérez does not appreciate.
The LaLiga giants are planning a significant summer rebuild and view Pogba – along with Eden Hazard – as their headline signing.
