Manchester United will line up without Paul Pogba for their Champions League clash on Wednesday night.
Manchester United have selected a midfield three but there is still no place for the 24-year-old, who loses out to Nemanja Matić, Ander Herrera, and Scott McTominay.
Recent speculation surrounding Pogba have suggested he is not getting along with José Mourinho.
The Portuguese hooked the club’s record signing in recent defeats against Tottenham and Newcastle United, while he did not start in a league win against Huddersfield Town.
United’s weekend win over the same opponent saw Pogba left out entirely, with Mourinho annoyedly citing a mysterious and sudden injury.
The real irony in Pogba’s omission comes with the formation. Many believe a midfield three is needed to get the best from the Frenchman yet Mourinho is only turning to that midfield shape when he is overlooking the €105m man.
