Patrick Kluivert admits he wants son Justin to play for Barcelona

Patrick Kluivert admits that he would love to see his son Justin follow in his footsteps and play for Barcelona.

Justin, who came through the ranks at Ajax, made his first team debut for the club last year and has since gone on to become a regular.

The 19-year-old is reportedly attracting suitors across Europe and could well be on the move this summer if the money is right.

“I am very proud of him,” said Patrick. “He’s doing a great job and working hard, which has earned him his place in the team. If he keeps at the same level for a long time, he could a good player.”

“Without doubt I would prefer him to go to Barcelona, but anything can happen in football.

“He’s an adult, though, and he has to make his own decisions. But he’s already said his dream is to play for Barcelona, so you never know what can happen.”
