Patrick Cutrone is keeping his feet firmly on the ground as he continues his impressive season.

The 21-year-old moved onto nine goals for the campaign on Saturday as he came off the bench to send AC Milan into the Coppa Italia quarter-finals with an extra-time brace.

“I am very happy, above all that we got through to the next round,” the striker said after the game.

“I’m glad to have been helpful to my team-mates.”

Cutrone could be required more regularly soon enough, with Gonzalo Higuaín strongly linked with a move to Chelsea.

Nonetheless, the Italian’s mind is fixed firmly on preparing for the next game.

“We’re in good shape and the Supercoppa is now our main focus,” he added.

Milan will now travel to the United Arab Emirates to play Juventus in the Italian Supercoppa on Wednesday.
