After just six months, the Patrick Cutrone experiment at Wolves appears to have officially come to an end.
On Thursday, Cutrone landed in Florence ahead of his move to Fiorentina. The deal is believed to initially be a loan for £1.5m with the deal to become permanent in 2021 for an additional £13.5m.
Cutrone arrived from AC Milan over the summer for roughly £15.3m and scored three goals and added four assists in 24 appearances (nine starts) at Wolverhampton.
Cutrone had earned a ton of playing time shortly after his arrival but has been limited to just 13 minutes of Premier League action since the middle of October.
With Cutrone leaving the club, it’s strongly believed that any offer for Raúl Jiménez will now be rejected immediately.
