Juventus have reportedly turned down Paris Saint-Germain’s attempts to sign Alex Sandro.
The Brazilian left-back has been linked with a move to the French capital but Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio says the move has been blocked by Juve.
The transfer window closes for Italian clubs at the end of the week, meaning Juventus would have just a few days to replace the 27-year-old.
According to the report, PSG hoped to open negotiations on Tuesday but were turned down by the Italian giants.
Marcelo had been linked with a move to Turin, with some reports earlier in the summer suggesting Cristiano Ronaldo had explicitly asked the club to sign his former Real Madrid team-mate, but that is another deal that now definitely won’t happen.
