Paraguay defender Cecilio Dominguez has claimed that his side must “take care” of Diego Lainez if they are to triumph over Mexico in this week’s friendly.
The South American side take on Tata Martino’s men in San Francisco on Wednesday in their last fixture of the current season.
And Dominguez, who played with Lainez during their time at America, has claimed that the pacy winger will be El Tri’s danger man.
“I played with for two years so know what a great player he is,” the Paraguayan told reporters.
“He can change the course of a game so we have to take care of him.
“Diego is in Spain now and is growing as a footballer.”
