Osasuna return to LaLiga

Osasuna gained promotion to LaLiga on Monday night as a return of other results in the division going their way.

Los Rojillos are mathematically assured of a return to the top flight with three games of the Segunda season remaining.

Albacete’s 1-0 defeat against Granada on Monday means that Osasuna cannot finish outside the top and are sure of automatic promotion.

They also have the opportunity to go up as champions in their own hands, due to their four-point lead over Granada.

Their last stint in the top flight came in the 2016/17 season, when they were relegated after a disappointing showing.
