Southampton midfielder Oriol Romeu looks set to be on his way out of the club in a €10m move to Celta Vigo, according to AS.

The La Liga side are currently in a battle to stay in the league, finding themselves in the bottom three in the table and two points from safety.

Romeu moved to St Mary’s back in 2015 from Chelsea after previously having spells in La Liga with Barcelona and Valencia.

Having been a mainstay in the Southampton team over the past five seasons, it looks like the 28-year-old’s spell on the South Coast is coming to an end.

Romeu has made 18 appearances for Ralph Hasenhüttl’s side this season and it is believed there is a relegation clause in the midfielder’s contract allowing him to leave should Vigo drop down a division.
