Ochoa: "America is the club where everyone wants to play"

Mexican international Guillermo Ochoa could not be happier to be playing to Club América.

The former Standard Liège goal stopper does not see the move to Mexico as a “failure”, rather he sees it as a dream come true.

“América is the club where everyone wants to play,” says Ochoa. “América is the most successful and the team in which everyone wants to play in Mexico.”

Ochoa, who was at the team store at the Azteca Stadium signing autographs, said it took him “five minutes to decide that he wanted to return” and was blown away by the reception from the fans at not only the team store but at the Mexico City International Airport.

“I am grateful to the fans because they all received me with mariachis, flowers, and balloons,” added Ochoa. “Very few of us are lucky to live that.”
