Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo has revealed his delight at seeing three crucial players sign new deals.

Conor Coady, Matt Doherty and Romain Saiss all committed their futures to the club who currently sit seventh in the Premier League.

However, despite their impressive season thus far, the 45-year-old was keen to dampen any Europa League ambitions.

“They are players that have had many years at the club and we believe that keeping the core of the squad will improve us,” he told reporters.

“The idea is to always keep what works and we are delighted to continue this project.”

“We go game by game. The table means nothing. We will stay focused on our tasks and not think about anything else.

“We want to look at our opponents and think that tomorrow we are going to have a tough opponent, that is how we keep our feet on the ground.”

Wolves face Bournemouth on Saturday before travelling to Huddersfield on February 26.
