Renato Sanches has only played 13 minutes in the last two months and is beginning to grow frustrated.
The 21-year-old came back from a precarious position in his career and was a surprise inclusion in Niko Kovač’s squad in the beginning of the season.
However, Kovač has been forced to encourage Sanches to carry on in the last few days.
“Renato is not the happiest at the moment because he’s not playing much,” Kovač said.
“But I told him that he should keep on going. He’s training well, is diligent and friendly.”
The Bayern boss claimed that he’s been forced to sit the midfielder due to their unusual position of not being top of the table this time of the year.
“It would be much easier if we had a lead by a few points. So we have to fight!
“That’s not simple for me. I’m trying to give everyone his playing time.”
