Neymar is willing to take a €15m pay cut in order to force a move from Paris Saint-Germain to Barcelona.

That’s according to Spanish football expert Guillem Balague, who claims that the Brazilian forward is so desperate to re-join the Camp Nou club that he would take the drastic pay cut to make it happen.

The LaLiga giants are thought to have made several offers for the Brazilian and met PSG for talks on Tuesday.

PSG, however, want more than the reported €80m plus Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitić that Barcelona offered. According to Balague, Neymar will do almost anything to get his dream return.

“The player is happy to reduce his wages from 38 million euros net to 23 million euros net,” Balague told the BBC.

“It is an interesting situation at Barcelona. They feel they have to try really hard to get him back.

“Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique and Luis Suarez want him back but also the president Josep Maria Bartomeu has two more years in his mandate and he wants to leave a big legacy.

“Can you imagine all those players that have been mentioned and Neymar as well?”
