Newcastle have been linked with a move for Monaco left-back Antonio Barreca.
According to Sky Italia, the Magpies are interested in signing the Italian this month from struggling Monaco.

It is understood Rafa Benítez is on the lookout for an attacking full-back and Barreca could be the man.
Eager to get forward, Barreca has two assists in nine appearances for the Ligue 1 side this season.
After a torrid campaign – Monaco are currently 19th and three points from safety – the former Torino man could be tempted by a move to the Premier League.
However, Barreca would be swapping one relegation battle for another as it stands, with Newcastle just two points above the drop zone.
