Newcastle United forward Ayoze Pérez refused to dismiss links to two other Premier League clubs in an interview with Marca.
The Spaniard has scored Premier League six goals so far this season after a brace saw the Magpies beat Everton last weekend.
Speaking to Marca, Pérez admitted he would like to return to Spain one day.
“I am very grateful to Newcastle,” said the 25-year-old, who joined the Premier League club in 2014.
“I have grown and matured here, but it is obvious that some day I would like to come back and play in LaLiga.”
Then asked about his future and potential suitors in Tottenham and Everton, Pérez denied the chance to dismiss those reports.
“To this day, I do not know [what will happen].
I hope something very good. I believe that I have made merit these five years [only 15 games have been lost] so that a good opportunity presents itself.”
