Burnley midfielder Jack Cork has been added to the England squad to face Brazil and Germany during the upcoming international break.
It is Cork’s first call-up for the senior team, though he won 13 caps at u21 level.
The 28-year-old also featured for Great Britain during the 2012 Olympics.
So far this season, Cork has played every minute of Burnley’s impressive rise to seventh in the Premier League.
Gareth Southgate has lost Fabian Delph, Raheem Sterling, Jordan Henderson, Dele Alli and Harry Kane to injury. Jake Livermore was called up on Monday and Cork now takes the squad up to 22 members.
