Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano has become the most expensive Mexican in the history of the game after signing his Napoli contract.
Napoli and PSV Eindhovem confirmed the deal on Friday.
The winger joins the Serie A club from for an initial €38m fee.
Napoli could end up paying a further €5m in bonuses, which will make the 24-year-old the most expensive player the club have ever signed.
The deal is also set to make him the most expensive Mexican ever. Wolves paid €38m to sign Raúl Jiménez permanently earlier this year. With bonuses included, the Lozano deal will outdo that move.
According to reports, there will be a €135m release clause in Lozano’s Napoli contract.
